Synopsis

Classically told in stark, visually stunning film-noir style, this modern love story follows the travails of Petunia, a breathtakingly beautiful and discontented Amish woman who is shunned and escapes from her deceivingly pious and shady colony only to naively get involved with dangerous real-estate criminal, The Persian. But when the well meaning tough guy looking for a change, Jack, is brought onto the payroll as a chauffeur and hired gun, he and Petunia quickly fall in love. While planning their escape from the violent grasp of The Persian and his henchmen, Jack and Petunia struggle through guilt, doubt and deadly gunfights in order to reach the Pacific Ocean that they have only seen in their dreams.
